The Stables is a semi-detached cottage near Betws-y-Coed. The cottage has a ground floor room with adult bunks, a ground floor bathroom and a first floor double on a mezzanine level. The kitchen has a dining area and the sitting room has a woodburner and double sofa bed. Outside is off road parking for two cars, and a rear lawn with patio and furniture. The Stables is on a small camping site, with access to a shop selling handmade furniture. With Betws-y-Coed and the Snowdonia National Park on the doorstep, this cottage makes a wonderful year-round family base.

Electric panel heaters with woodburner in sitting room. Electric range cooker, 5-ring gas hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with full Sky package, DVD, WiFi, selection of books and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Additional fuel available to purchase on site. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 2 cars and boats. Storage for mountain bikes. Enclosed rear lawn with furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: Double bedroom has a sloping ceiling with partially reduced head height. Note: WiFi can be intermittent in certain rooms, but guests can access separate barn building for better signal. Note: Near to main road so some related noise may be heard. Note: Check-in time 4pm. Note: Max. 4 guests (not inc. infants). |

Betws-Y-Coed is a village in the Conwy valley in Gwynedd, Wales. It is situated in Snowdonia National Park near to Llanrwst and Dolwyddelan and is one of nigh on a hundred towns and villages in Gwynedd in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest main cities are Bangor (population 15,280), Swansea (population 169,880), and Newport (which has a population of 116,143 according to the 2001 Census).
The village gets its name from the Welsh meaning "Prayer house in the wood" and is popular with visitors to the area because of the river, the buildings, scenery and history of this beautiful place. It is also ideally located as a base for exploring north wales, Snowdonia and the coastline nearby.
